If you've had the chance to meet me at a show, you probably know one thing I always say.

No, don't respect all builds.

Now hear me out.

If you're confident in your build, the hate shouldn't matter. You built your car because **you** love it, not because you're trying to make everyone else happy.

The truth is every car is a work in progress. No build is ever perfect. Every car has a story to tell. Every modification, every mistake, every late night in the garage is part of someone's journey.

If someone hates on your wheels, your fitment, your paint, your engine bay, or whatever else, who cares? They see it differently than you do. That's what makes the car community fun.

If you get emotional or mad every time someone talks about your car, maybe it's not the other person's opinion you should be worried about. Maybe you just aren't as confident in your build as you thought.

You will never build a car that everyone likes. That's impossible.

Build the car that makes **you** smile every time you walk away from it.

So yes, hate on all builds. Have fun with your friends. Talk some trash. Pick apart each other's cars.

Just do it respectfully.

Because at the end of the day, we're all here for the same reason.

We love cars.
